The Primal Pathway workshop series is designed to improve and enhance our capability as humans. Monthly indoor studio sessions serve to teach the fundamentals in a predictable setting. This will act as preparation for outdoor events; putting the skills to the test whilst adding exposure to the elements. The aim is to build a tribe of likeminded individuals who can grow together, sharing their own skills and enthusiasm in an open minded training environment.

The Format for this 2.5 hour indoor session will be longer bouts of physical activity, broken up with short bursts of theory on a range of inter-related subjects, including:

 Mobility

  • a focus on articulation and improving the range of the joints
  • head to toe mobility routine that can be tailored as an individual daily home practice

Strength

  • explore isometric strength training; learn why it is a safe and more controlled approach and how it can be used to combat atrophy in the ageing process
  • learn how to structure it and build a progressive individual programme

Protection

  • learn how to adopt a stable base, integrate footwork and coordination in movement
  • discover how to organise the head, chest and pelvis and effectively strike at a target area

Nutrition

  • an interactive discussion on protocols and approaches to nutrition, encouraging group ideas and experiences
  • my own take home tips to maximise recovery and rejuvenation

Play

  • games to challenge balance and reaction speed
  • individual, partner and group creative activities

Accessories

  • an introduction to simple tools that assist development and how they can be implemented into everyday practice at home or on the road

 

This workshop is strictly limited to 12 people and payment must be made prior to confirm a place
